Wytheville Community College (WCC) is offering students in recovery a support system to provide resources to help them thrive in an academic setting. 

Wytheville Community College is now accepting nominations for the 2023 Distinguished Service Awards Program. The deadline for nominations is Friday, February 10, 2023. 

The Wytheville Community College Board Honorary Degree Committee will meet on January 30, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. 

The Wytheville Concert Series welcomes back Anna Billias and Julia Goudimova on Friday, February 3. 

Wytheville Community College (WCC) has hired Mr. Brian Lawson to be the new Chief of Police. Mr. Lawson will supervise the WCC Police Department.

Wytheville Community College (WCC) Theatre will hold open auditions for a new play production on January 24 & 25.  

Twenty-four students recently completed Wytheville Community College's (WCC) new Industrial Maintenance Program, which began during the Fall semester of 2022. 

The Executive Committee of the Wytheville Community College Board will meet on Friday, January 13, 2023, at 5:30 p.m., to address business from the canceled November 15, 2022 meeting. 

The State Board for Community Colleges has hired David Doré, EdD, to serve as the next Chancellor of the Virginia Community College System.

Wytheville Community College is sponsoring its free monthly Bluegrass and Old-Time Jamboree, this time featuring Jerry Steinberg & His Dixie Blue Grass Boys and the New Ballard's Branch Bogtrotters. 

A genealogical article written by William A. "Bill" Veselik, Archivist for the F.B. Kegley Library at Wytheville Community College, has been published in the January-March 2023 issue of the National Genealogical Society Magazine. 

Although the Virginia Community College System announced a freeze in tuition prices earlier in the year helping all Virginia community college students with tuition fees, there are many other expenses associated with attending college.
